The challenge that we face was to create an ecosystem of devices and services that would differentiate Telefónica from its competitors and which would overcome the lack of consistency suffered by the products available on the market.
Analysis phase of the project
Work at Mormedi began with a brand analysis and a competitor’s benchmark. Then we created a product identity manual to give a coherent vision to the whole device family and create an emotional bond between the user and the brand.
We accompanied Telefónica throughout the process: from the conceptualization of the product to mass production. Moreover we helped Telefónica and the device manufacturer to adapt its manufacturing capacity and ensure that the final product respects the original design.
The HGU (Home Gateway Unit) has a fresh and clean design that conveys modernity and sophistication, providing discreet protagonism within the domestic scope. This device is the base of a family of products that will grow in the future to provide integrated services within the home.
