Alex began his engineering studies at Tecnun School of Engineers, University of Navarra. Afterwards, Alex moved to London where he completed a Master in Integrated Product Design at the University of Brunel. He also completed a training seminar at Design For Manufacture by RJG Technologies, in Peterborough, United Kingdom.
He started his career as an industrial designer at BOSCH in the Hydraulic Engineering department, designing and monitoring the manufacture of hydraulic and pneumatic components and equipment.
After completing the master’s degree in London, Alex worked at Rype Office, a London Startup, investigating the potential to manufacture products with recycled plastic, as well as the design and manufacture of office furniture in recycled plastic and conventional materials.
During his time in London, Alex was awarded the first prize of the National Design Innovation Plastics competition in 2018. Established in 1985, DIP is the largest European competition for students in plastic materials.
