Mormedi worked with Nissan to help the company understand the future of in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) systems, and to design cutting-edge proposals for the luxury Infiniti brand.

The challenge

Software and connectivity are going to be major drivers of differentiation and premium pricing. Nissan therefore wanted Mormedi to help it understand the current and future trends in in-vehicle infotainment, and design UX/UI proposals for the upcoming models of Nissan's premium Infiniti brand.

Our approach

Mormedi carried out in-depth user research and investigated how different generations interacted with cars, and what they expected from IVI systems. In addition, a thorough benchmarking exercise was done to see how other makers were approaching the issue, and an exploration of applicable technologies. Based on this data, Mormedi designed cutting-edge proposals, including prototypes and implementation roadmaps.
